1. Scope
This notice covers this BagGauge website and the BagGauge Chrome extension. The extension compares measurements you enter with published airline baggage limits. It does not inspect the page you are viewing, your booking, your email, or your browsing history.
2. Website data
BagGauge does not run analytics, advertising, behavioral tracking, crash reporting, cookies, contact forms, or user accounts on this website. The website consists only of static files.
Cloudflare Pages delivers the site and necessarily processes ordinary request and security metadata, such as IP address and browser request details, under Cloudflare’s own service and privacy terms. BagGauge has not enabled a custom analytics feed.
3. Extension data
Bag dimensions, weights, profiles, trips, and recent checks are
stored in
chrome.storage.local inside your Chrome profile by
default. Core Free checks work without a BagGauge account,
license, or network permission.
Rule data ships with the extension release. BagGauge does not download mutable rule files or remotely hosted executable code.
4. Permissions
The extension’s required permissions are limited to Side Panel access and local storage. It does not request access to tabs, browsing history, cookies, page content, downloads, identity, or all websites.
5. Pro licensing
Paid checkout and license activation are not currently available. Before they are enabled, this notice will be updated to identify the approved payment and licensing provider, the exact data sent after an explicit activation action, retention, and available choices.
6. Export and deletion
The extension provides local data export and deletion controls. Deleting BagGauge data removes its local namespaces and cached entitlement state from the Chrome profile. Uninstalling the extension is controlled by Chrome.
7. Contact status
A public support address has not yet been approved. Do not send private data to an unverified address. The current support status and the minimum information safe to share are listed on the Support page.
